💰 50% More Pay for Jurors? In the Dane County’s Clerk of Court's 2027 budget proposal, Jeff Okazaki proposes jurors get paid $30 per day for jury duty instead of $20. This proposal is to offset the burden jury duty places on hourly workers who lose out on wages when they serve on a jury, according to the clerk. The City Cast Madison team talks on the podcast today about whether the county can afford this change on today’s episode. [WKOW, 🎧 City Cast Madison]

I wonder what Benny is dreaming about!? (Photo by Gayle G.)

A golden doddle laying in a blue dog bed, with his tummy showing twisted is torso so his head and neck is sideways on the bed.

Benny is a sweet Goldendoodle, who has mastered the art of the nap! I wish I could reach what his owner refers to as “True relaxation in action!”
