If you’re in need of free winter clothes or would like to donate items, check out these community resources.

- Hours: Thursdays and Fridays: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturdays: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- People are welcome during these hours and don’t need to schedule an appointment. Donations are accepted during hours of operation.
- Multiple locations
- Vouchers for clothing are available. Call 608-278-2920 to apply. Vouchers are accepted at any location in Dane County. Items can be donated in stores or via no-contact pick up at home.

- 3502 Parmenter Street, Middleton, WI 53562
- Hours: Tuesday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.; Thursday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Friday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Currently accepting clothing donations.

- If you are in need of clothing and your child attends Sun Prairie or Marshall Schools, contact your child’s school social worker for a referral. Once a referral is received, families can select clothing in a private 30-minute appointment.
- Accepts clean and gently used seasonal clothing and footwear.
- Community shares of Wisconsin supports nonprofits in the state that work on a broad range of issues. Their annual Big Share event raised more than $600,000 for local organizations in 2023.
Where to give
Winter and the holiday season can be a time of need for some and giving for others.
“We run entirely off of donations,” said Grant Sorenson, the pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church. “We truly count on what people give.”
