Hello, Madison! Here at City Cast Madison we’re so excited to share your ultimate resource for giving this season — City Cast Madison 2025 Giving Spotlight, presented by our partners at Goodman Community Center, Root 2 Rise, RENEW Wisconsin, and Madison Public Library Foundation — local non-profits that help you everyday. Whether you’re new to town or a longtime Madisonian, we’ve rounded up non-profits to give back to this season.
Serving the Madison Community Since 1954
Since 1954, the Goodman Community Center has strengthened lives and secured futures. Programs include full-time preschool, after-school care for elementary/middle school students, paid job training for high school students, meals and activities for older adults, literacy support and training, food pantry, public art gallery, fitness center, event spaces, and more.
Local Teens Transform Classrooms – and Themselves
Root 2 Rise helps Dane County high school students who aren’t feeling connected to school find direction by serving in classrooms and supporting younger students. Teens gain confidence and purpose through this responsibility – children benefit from the steady support. Two generations move forward together. Learn more at root2rise.org.
Join the Clean Energy Revolution
Since 1991, RENEW Wisconsin has worked toward a future powered by renewables. With your support, we can ensure everyone benefits from the transition to clean energy. Donate today to join the clean energy revolution for an economy that keeps energy bills low, protects families from pollution, and fights climate change.
